YW Calgary 2025 YWHISPER Dream Draw Rules
1. Organizer: This raffle is conducted by YW Calgary. All proceeds support YW Calgary's mission to assist women and families in the Calgary area.
2. Eligibility: Participants must be aged 18 and older and in the Province of Alberta at time of purchase and draw. YW Calgary Executives, Board Members and their immediate families are not eligible to purchase tickets.
3. Ticket Purchase:
• Ticket Price: Tickets are priced at $50 each (200 available), 3 for $100 (250 packs available), and 8 for $200 (320 packs available).
• Sales Period: Ticket sales begin on February 5, 2025, at 9:00 AM MST, and end on March 6, 2025, at 9:00 PM MST or until all tickets are sold, whichever comes first.
• Sales Location: Tickets may be purchased online through Raffle Nexus between 9:00 AM MST on February 5 and 9:00 PM MST on March 6, 2025, or in person at the YWHISPER Gala between 5:00 PM MST and 9:00 PM MST on March 6, or until all tickets are sold, whichever comes first.
• Players will receive a YWHISPER Dream Draw Official ticket to the email specified at the time of purchase, after the purchase is completed and payment is processed. Numbers are generated randomly by the vendors’ lottery system; no specific numbers can be given.
• All raffle ticket sales will be cashless, and participants may use debit or credit cards for their purchases.
4. Draw Date and Location:
• Date: March 6, 2025.
• Location: BMO Centre, 20 Round Up Way SE, Calgary, AB T2G 2W1, Calgary, Alberta, during the YWHISPER Gala.
• Time: The draws will take place at 9:15 PM MST.
• The winners will be announced on stage at the YWHISPER Gala. Only three tickets will be drawn – one per prize.
5. Prizes:
• Grand Prizes:
- WestJet Vacation: One roundtrip flight for four (4) guests in Business Class to any regularly scheduled and marketed WestJet destination*! (*No cash value, fees, taxes, surcharges not included, blackout dates and restrictions apply, and not all flights have Business Class.) Valued at $21,504 CAD
- Willys MB (Jeep): A restored 1947 Willys MB (Jeep) in excellent condition, valued at approximately $12,000 or a one-year lease on a new 2025 Cadillac valued at $12,000.
- Alberta Diamond Exchange Diamond: A set of diamond jewelry (earrings, necklace and ring) valued at approximately $22,050.
• All prizes are non-transferable and have no cash value. Winners must arrange prize collection within 90 days of the draw date.
• If the winning ticket has more than one name on it, YW Calgary shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket. YW Calgary and AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket.
• The prizes will be drawn in the following order on stage: Alberta Diamond Exchange Diamond set, Willys MB (Jeep) or a one-year lease on a new 2025 Cadillac, and finally the WestJet business class flights.
• Any winning ticket will not be returned to the draw and will not be eligible for subsequent prizes.
• The prizes must be accepted as awarded, with no cash alternatives available for any of the prizes.
6. Winning Ticket Notification:
• Winners will be announced at the gala and contacted via phone and email within 48 hours. Winning ticket numbers and names of the winners will also be published on YW Calgary’s website and social media channels.
7. Claiming Prizes:
• Winners must present valid government-issued photo identification and the winning ticket to claim the prize.
• Prizes must be claimed within 90 days.
8. General Rules:
• Raffle tickets are non-refundable.
• YW Calgary is not responsible for any additional expenses associated with the prizes.
• If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased. Changes to draw dates for any reason require the prior approval of the AGLC prior to implementation.
• In compliance with AGLC regulations, all disputes will be resolved in accordance with AGLC guidelines and decisions will be final.
